“Listening to Residents’ Voices” Event Held in the Oda District of Tsukuba City

Event held to confirm residents’ intentions and aim for local problem-solving

To realize the “Tsukuba Super Science City” initiative, Tsukuba City and the Tsukuba Smart City Consortium (TSCC) co-hosted a dialogue event in the Oda district to listen to the voices of local residents and community active groups.

As various services transition from the demonstration phase to full-scale implementation, the purpose of this project is to carefully understand local challenges and expectations, ensuring that these insights are reflected in the creation of services that truly support daily life. On the day of the event, member companies of the TSCC participated, engaging in active discussions after a site tour of the area.

Based on the local realities shared during this session, we will continue to promote collaboration between industry, academia, and government to achieve genuine problem-solving through the use of digital technology.
